The Mayor’s Senior Task Force has been created to identify the needs of the growing senior and elderly population in Marion County. A Senior Summit was held on August 27, 2024, bringing together over 90 community partners, organizations, and senior representatives to identify what action steps need to be taken to provide support and solutions for the challenges senior face. Next steps include identifying and convening action teams to deliver the solutions necessary to improve the wellbeing of our Marion seniors.
